More from our Delhi Trip

Harry Potter

at Taj Mahal

Agra Fort - across river from Taj Mahal.  This is where the man that build the Taj was imprisioned for the last years of his life. It was across the river from the Taj, so he could only admire his wif'e's tomb from his window.

India Gate in Delhi

I appreciate that the people at the India Gate were all selling something & not begging...BUT, I would NEVER eat an ice cream from them.

I let Benjamin use my point & click camera for this journey.  He got some great pictures out the car window and of the vendors at the India Gate.

Tomb in Delhi that the Taj was modeled after. Built about 100 years earlier.  Impressive, but not as well maintained as the Taj.

I will always be amazed at what all can be transported on a bike/rickshaw
Another "wide load"

We don't have these bike rickshaws in Pune.

The guys enjoyed their Formula One weekend...including dining with big race names like Michael Schumaker in the hotel next to ours.

Lotus Temple

Qutb Minar - actually one of my favorite places.  Lots of detailed carvings around this Archeaology Ruins.  The only negative was the crowd...and the number of requests for Benjamin's picture.  Here Benjamin is not happy, because he realized I was not the only one taking his picture.

I tried to get Benjamin to imitate the guy in the other picture. =)

She's Crafty

So, I don't just PIN things to Pinterest...I actually do a few of the projects.  Here is the latest:

Below is my latest painting.  I painted it for a very special girl I know.  She is beautiful, independent, loves travel, and lives in the Corn State...Iowa.  Happy Birthday Samantha!

Benjamin and I also have fun doing crafts together...but this day he was busy with his first homework assignment.  He is practicing writing the letter C.
