All of our flights are in & out of Mumbai and arrival & departure times are in the night. Typically, we drive straight to Pune after our arrival, but this time we spent the night in Mumbai & drove the next morning. This was the first time we made this drive during the daytime...and we got to see these little guys hanging out at the side of the road. They are used to the people feeding them...although they weren't to thrilled with our pretzel offerings - next time we will bring bananas. Benjamin & I stayed in the car. Domnic got out to feed them and Rene took the pictures.
The monkeys would go quickly off the backside of the wall (as in the picture above). From Benjamin's perspective, they we falling off. He was laughing hysterically and saying "falling down."
They're SO cute! I would have loved to see Benjamin in the car laughing. Just the way he told me what they were doing was funny! See you this afternoon!

All I can think of is Benjamin's identification of scat when we walked in the forest this summer. Elephants, monkeys, goats - I'm sure he's beginning to be an expert on the subject.
