Recently, I posted a picture of a painting I sent to my sister, Brooke, for her birthday. In the posting, I mentioned that Domnic had taken an extra step to put special stamps on the package, since he knew it was going to someone in America. Well, when Brooke received it, she said it looked like the package had already been opened. Below, please find the BEFORE picture that Domnic took and the AFTER picture that Brooke took. When I received the after picture, I showed it to Domnic. Now, I've been in India long enough...I turned to Domnic and said "someone stole the stamps, didn't they?" Domnic answered, "Yes, and it was probably a post office employee at the Pune Post Office."
A sorry story, but I think it makes this whole package sending story a bit more exciting!
That is so frustrating, and very much India--so much desperation which causes all of the dishonesty. Cute story though! I love your handwriting by the way!
