I don't ever want to be famous!

Benjamin receives a lot of attention in India.  The people just can't resist this white, blue-eyed, blond, curly-headed boy.  They want to hold him, touch him, take pictures of him, and soak up his every move.

This weekend we were in a city park and were constantly being watched and sometimes even followed by people that were so facinated with Benjamin.  We tried to pause to let them pass, but they often paused too.  It made it difficult to relax and have a good time.

We've all seen pictures of famous families playing in a park...trying to have some family time.  Now I have a new respect for what they deal with on a daily basis.  Maybe I will take a tip from them and start dressing Benjamin in disguise - wig, hat, very large sunglasses.

  1. that sounds only after stress. I'm sorry for you, I hope you can still enjoy a little family vacation. Your Benjamin is just a little angel. Make the most of it and schau das du den Indischen Bürgern aus dem Weg gehst.... although I think that is more difficult. When are you coming back? I miss our joint meeting and playing with Benjamin (-: Best wishes to India from Dusseldorf ... Julia

  2. I'd follow your family around also. But I can understand the stress the constant attention must cause you. Maybe a fake tan and shave his head??

  3. The pageant world would suggest taking mom's idea and go with a spray tan :)
